Campaign Finance Reform

I am disgusted with the pay to play attitude that rules Capitol Hill. Reforming our tattered campaign finance system will go a long way towards ensuring that everyone has equal access to our public officials. I am willing to consider any idea on how to make the campaign process less expensive, more transparent, and more open.

I have been involved in campaign finance issues throughout my career, serving as chairwoman of the Fairfax County Commission on Fair Campaign Practices in the early 1980s and on the Privileges and Elections Committee during my time in the State Senate.
